I purchased these as a gift for my daughter’s 9th birthday. I tried buying kids earrings, but purls looked microscopic. The backing is silicon and seems to be very secure . Purl is a great size. She has sensitive ears and has reaction unless it is 14k or 18k gold. Hope these will not give her irritation. I am sure she will like them.

I have found these very comfortable – even sleeping in them, and the cushioned backs are very secure without any irritation.
