   My teenager has been wearing this for a few weeks and there is no irritation or discoloration. He likes the way it looks and the clasp is easy enough for him to fasten by himself.

   Our younger son isn’t quite ready for the responsibilities of a solid gold chain but still wants to “look the part” at middle school. His first chain broke and was lost (proving he’s not ready for the real deal yet) so we got him this one to replace it and hopefully this one proves more durable and can hold up to his sports and activeness. This necklace is a solid piece of fashion jewelry and comes in a nice box. With the clasp, the length is almost 19″. This is tad longer than he would like, but I think it’s a good length (see picture). The clasp is a good size and easy for him to remove and put on by himself. If you want a nice affordable chain for a young man, this is a good choice.
