Very nice chain and pendant. Pendant and chain are well made and seem toClean up well so far. My son has not taken this off so we had to clean it in jewelry solution 2 times so far and it has held up great. This is equivalent to an itemFound in a fancy jewelry store. I purchased the necklace for a niece who recently graduated from college. She has three sons and has worked hard to receive er degree. I thought it was a great gift. She wasn't as pleased as me. I purchased these as a gift for my daughter’s 9th birthday. I tried buying kids earrings, but purls looked microscopic. The backing is silicon and seems to be very secure . Purl is a great size. She has sensitive ears and has reaction unless it is 14k or 18k gold. Hope these will not give her irritation. I am sure she will like them.
